Job Description ***This is a contract role until end of April 2027*** We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Employee Relations Advisor to join our team! In this key role, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational support to managers across various divisions in your region. You will play an essential role in the implementation of the company’s HR policies, procedures, and programs while ensuring the promotion of best practices in employee relations management. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of the employees' experience and their engagement, thereby directly contributing to the success of our organization. In close collaboration with the Employee Relations Business Partner, you will participate in various HR projects while providing hands-on support to managers. Your main responsibilities: 1. HR Programs and Processes Deploy and ensure the implementation of HR processes within operations, including: The Performance Evaluation Process Salary reviews Management of vacation and absenteeism Health and safety initiatives Actively participate in various committees (e.g., employee participation committee, health and safety committee); Support managers in onboarding, orientation, and training of new team members, while ensuring rigorous follow-up on their integration; Collaborate closely with the talent attraction team and provide support to the management team when needed. 2. Employee Relations Support and coach managers on issues related to employee relations, such as: Performance management. Job reviews and evaluations. Health and safety concerns. Participate in the management of store transactions (transitioning from company-owned to associate-owned stores or vice versa). 3. Support for the Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP) Assist the ERBP and the HR team in the execution of specific and strategic projects. Participate in or lead continuous improvement initiatives for the HR department. Coordinate and organize HR-related events. 4. Health and Safety Support managers in all operational aspects related to health and safety, including: Following up on requests and cases. Developing and implementing prevention plans. Managing the health and safety claims process and ensuring rigorous follow-up on cases. Qualifications To join our team, you need: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR generalist role. Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, as you will need to collaborate with colleagues and clients across Canada.
