Senior Human Resources Business Partner – Remote within Canada What a Typical Day Looks Like Partner with leaders to align people strategies with business goals, operational priorities, and workforce needs. Provide expert advice on employee relations, workplace investigations, accommodations, performance management, and terminations while minimizing risk and ensuring legislative compliance. Coach and influence leaders through complex workforce challenges, organizational change, and talent decisions. Anticipate workforce trends and recommend proactive solutions that support business outcomes. Analyze people metrics and trends to identify opportunities and drive informed decision-making. Support leaders in understanding employee engagement results and developing meaningful action plans. Maintain a visible presence within your client group through regular branch and frontline engagement. Champion employee wellbeing and advocate for a positive employee experience. Partner with Centres of Excellence to implement and drive adoption of enterprise people programs and initiatives. Act as a key connector between business leaders and People teams, ensuring people strategies translate into business results. Support the development and standardization of HRBP processes and best practices across the organization. Share expertise, mentor HRBP team members, and contribute to building capability within the People Operations team. The Value You Bring 5 to 7 years of progressive HR or business operations leadership experience in a large national or global organization. Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong expertise in employee relations, performance management, organizational change, and leader coaching. Demonstrated business acumen, critical thinking, and ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization. Strong judgment, relationship management, and problem-solving capabilities. Experience using data and insights to support decision-making and drive outcomes. CPHR designation is considered an asset.
