About the Role We are looking for a Junior Human Resources Administrator to provide administrative support to our Human Resources team and serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You’ll support a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll and benefits administration, training, compliance, and employee support. What You’ll Do Recruitment & Onboarding Post job advertisements and coordinate recruitment activities. Schedule interviews and conduct reference checks. Prepare offer letters and employment documentation. Coordinate new-hire onboarding and orientation. Prepare employee files and onboarding packages. Human Resources Administration Maintain accurate employee files and HRIS records. Process employment changes, wage adjustments, and status updates. Prepare employment verification letters and HR correspondence. Track probationary hours and maintain HR documentation. Handle employee information with a high level of confidentiality. Payroll & Benefits Support Assist with payroll changes related to new hires, terminations, and wage adjustments. Maintain attendance, vacation, and leave records. Coordinate benefits enrolment and employee changes. Respond to routine employee benefits inquiries. Training & Compliance Schedule mandatory training and maintain training records. Track certification expiries and compliance requirements. Support health and safety initiatives and policy acknowledgements. Assist with maintaining accurate compliance documentation. Employee Support Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures. Provide professional and timely customer service to employees and managers. Assist with employee engagement initiatives and HR projects. Support the HR team with other administrative duties as required. What You Bring Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 0–1 years of administrative or HR experience. Previous office administration or customer service experience is an asset. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Experience with an HRIS such as BambooHR is an asset. A positive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and grow.
