Director, Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand Hybrid work model – 4 days/week in the office Permanent Position Location: Montreal Reports to: Chief Talent Officer Role Summary We are seeking a bold, business-minded, and forward-thinking Director, Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand to lead the evolution of our global talent attraction strategy. This role is for a strategic leader who thrives in fast-paced, transformational environments and understands that exceptional talent is the foundation of extraordinary performance. As a member of the Talent Leadership Team, and a trusted partner to leaders across the business, you will elevate how we attract, engage, and select world-class talent while shaping a compelling employer brand that reflects our creativity, ambition, and culture. You will bring together talent intelligence, workforce insight, candidate experience, and storytelling to help position Cirque as an employer of choice on the global stage. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic leader with experience across Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnership,Talent Management and team leadership, who can operate strategically while driving operational excellence and meaningful change. Key Responsibilities Strategic Talent Acquisition Leadership Develop and execute a forward-looking global Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with business priorities and growth ambitions. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on workforce planning, organizational capability needs, and global talent market dynamics. Build innovative, scalable sourcing and recruitment strategies to attract exceptional and diverse talent across all business areas. Leverage talent intelligence, market insights, and analytics to anticipate hiring trends and strengthen strategic decision-making Talent Acquisition Operations & Systems Excellence Develop, manage and lead a global talent acquisition team with a coaching-centric approach, enabling every team member to elevate the function globally Lead the end-to-end transformation and optimization of Talent Acquisition operations (including IA tools and analytics), ensuring strong discipline, consistency, and scalability across all hiring activities. Act as a reference when it comes to train and influence the TA team to stay relevant, connected with their communities and in touch with the latest trends in Talent Acquisition Play a key leadership role in the successful implementation and adoption of the new ATS, ensuring it becomes a true enabler of speed, quality, and data-driven decision-making. Drive operational excellence across recruitment workflows, governance, SLAs, and hiring processes to ensure a seamless and high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience. Establish robust reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor funnel health, time-to-fill, quality of hire, and recruiter productivity. Ensure data integrity, process compliance, and system adoption across all regions and teams, embedding new ways of working. Continuously identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate processes to increase efficiency and scalability. Employer Brand & Talent Attraction Lead the evolution of the employer brand strategy to enhance visibility, differentiation, and candidate engagement globally. Partner with Communications, Marketing, and HR leaders to craft compelling talent storytelling and recruitment campaigns. Ensure every candidate interaction reflects the creativity, authenticity, and excellence of the organization’s brand. Strengthen the organization’s presence across digital platforms, social channels, and key talent communities Leadership, Partnership & Change Management Partner closely with business leaders to influence hiring decisions, talent priorities, and organizational transformation initiatives. Act as a change agent, driving adoption of modern talent practices and reinforcing accountability in hiring outcomes. Support leaders in building clarity, discipline, and speed in decision-making related to talent acquisition. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and operational rigor within the TA function. Educate, inspire and influence hiring mangers worldwide to promote ambassadorship throughout the organization, allowing the employer brand to shine through the voice of every employee at Cirque du Soleil. Talent Ecosystem Collaboration Partner with the Talent leadership team members to ensure an integrated and future-focused talent strategy. Support succession planning and leadership pipeline discussions through strong external market perspective and talent insights. Champion inclusive hiring practices and ensure equitable, high-quality candidate experiences globally. Profile, Experience, Skills Proven track record in Talent Acquisition leadership within complex, fast-paced, and evolving organizations. Experience with managing a global team of Talent Acquisition experts, with a kind, trusting, inclusive and clear leadership style Strong business acumen with prior exposure to HR Business Partnering and/or Talent Management. Proven ability to influence senior leaders and operate as a strategic talent advisor. Experience leading transformation, building modern recruitment functions, and driving employer brand initiatives. Passion for innovation, storytelling, culture, and creating exceptional human experiences. Ability to navigate ambiguity with agility, resilience, and creativity.
