Christy Media Solutions is working with a leading global media technology company to recruit an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its Montreal team on an initial 12-month maternity cover contract, with the possibility of extension. This is a broad, hands-on HR position supporting the North American business, with particular responsibility across Canadian payroll, recruitment, employee relations, benefits and HR compliance. What you’ll be doing: Managing Canadian payroll Owning recruitment processes from initial brief through to offer and onboarding Supporting managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries and employee matters Managing onboarding, offboarding and benefits administration Ensuring compliance with Quebec and wider Canadian employment legislation Supporting wider HR projects, policies and people initiatives What we’re looking for: Experience in a broad HR Generalist, HR Advisor or similar position Strong knowledge of Quebec employment and labour legislation Hands-on experience managing Canadian payroll End-to-end recruitment experience Confidence partnering directly with managers across the business Experience within a technology, healthcare or corporate environment would be beneficial Strong English and French communication skills ADP Workforce Now experience would be an advantage This would suit someone who enjoys having real ownership across the HR function rather than working within a narrowly defined specialism.
