Position Title: Graduate Recruitment & Partnerships Specialist Department: Recruitment & Admissions Position Type: Full-time, Limited Term (3 year) Classification: MPE Band D Salary Range: $57,584 -70,356 (based on 37.5 hours per week) Posting Date: September 21st, 2026 Closing Date: October 2nd, 2026, at 5:00 PM AST POSITION DESCRIPTION The Graduate Recruitment & Partnerships Specialist leads the University's domestic graduate recruitment efforts and develops a coordinated recruitment strategy to support enrolment growth across StFX's graduate portfolio. The position builds long-term relationships with Canadian universities, career centres, graduate studies offices, employers and professional associations; identifies new recruitment markets and partnership opportunities; represents StFX at graduate fairs and recruitment events; and supports prospective graduate students from initial inquiry through application. The role works collaboratively with academic departments, Graduate Studies, Recruitment & Admissions, Communications & Marketing, and International Recruitment. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement strategies to grow domestic graduate enrolment. * Build relationships with Canadian universities, career centres and graduate studies offices. * Establish sustainable recruitment pipelines and identify new recruitment markets. * Develop partnership opportunities with institutions and organizations across Canada. * Represent StFX at graduate fairs, recruitment events and information sessions. * Support prospective graduate students from initial inquiry through application. * Collaborate with faculties and academic departments on program-specific recruitment plans. * Coordinate graduate recruitment and promotional activities across programs. * Monitor recruitment trends, evaluate results and identify opportunities for growth. * Travel throughout Canada to support recruitment and partnership activities. Qualifications/Skills * Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred. * Several years of experience in post-secondary recruitment, admissions, student services, business development, partnership development or a related field. * Demonstrated experience developing and implementing recruitment or enrolment strategies. * Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with universities, employers, professional associations and other external partners. * Strong knowledge of the Canadian post-secondary landscape and graduate education considered an asset. * Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences. * Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and recruitment initiatives. * Demonstrated ability to analyze recruitment trends and use data to identify opportunities and inform strategy. * Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative stakeholders across a university environment. * Willingness and ability to travel throughout Canada and work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
